Aversan Health Solutions representatives were recently in attendance at eHealth 2014, which was held in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event focused on the new digital age in health, and brought together topics such as social media, genomics, scanners and sensor sequencing. This year’s event reached high attendance by clinicians, more attended than any other health related event. A highlight of the event was the 2014 National Innovation Showcase set up in a theater area, offering jurisdictional success stories demonstrating successfully implemented innovative and integrated solutions. Aversan was honored to be exclusively invited to attend the Kayachtn (Hands-Up) Welcoming, held by the First Nations Health Authority. This welcoming featured a wonderful expression of Salish culture. eHealth Vancouver 2014 promoted Telehealth for improving health outcomes to First Nation communities.

Overall this was a fantastic event for Health IT, and we cannot wait to come back to it next year when it will be a little closer to home, Toronto, Ontario!
