Aversan designed, implemented and tested the Primary Care Screening Activity Report Release 2 (PCSAR R2) for Cancer Care Ontario.
The Screening Activity Report provides primary care physicians with a supplementary tool for improving their cancer screening rates and appropriate follow-up. In PCSAR R2, Business Intelligence (BI) reports are stored in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with both SQL and Oracle database holdings. The solution includes a reporting cube hosted in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) connected to a star schema residing in Oracle DB (10g and 11g).
With a role based access model implemented to support different authorization levels for physicians and delegates, this 2013 SharePoint portal provided an interactive reporting portal to end users. The platform was federated with eHealth Ontario’s ONEID registry, and supported Claims Based Authentication (CBA) with SAML Tokens.
Aversan excelled in delivering an end-to-end solution by exceeding expectations in project management, release management, environment setup, documentation, Knowledge Transfer, and performance testing activities. PCSAR R2 went live end of October 2014. Thousands of physicians and delegates are now registered with this application with a 35% increased adoption rate.
