Aversan was responsible for unit testing of a data collection unit (DCU). The DCU is an electronic storage device attached to an engine. Its function is to act as a digital storage and retrieval mechanism for engine control system configuration data and the operational history of the engine.
Aversan was responsible for testing the device based on the software design document, performing systems integration testing based on the requirement specification, and performing source code reviews in order to verify the client’s coding standard. Aversan led the tool qualification of the compiler and the Rational Test Real Time test software and was also responsible for the development of a Target Deployment Port (TDP) for the Keil Uvision v3 IDE.
